  1. p. 1Cover, contents and how to useThe page map, a key to every box type, and the order to read on the last day.
  2. DL-02Boolean Algebra and Canonical FormsWhich law simplifies this expression, and how do minterms and maxterms map to each other?
  3. DL-03Minimization: K-map and Tabular MethodHow do I find every prime implicant, the essential ones, and a minimum cover?
  4. DL-04Combinational Building BlocksWhich block implements this function, and how many gates or muxes does it take?
  5. DL-05Flip-Flops, Counters and State MachinesWhat is the next state, how many states does this counter cycle through, and how fast can it run?
  6. DL-06Number Systems, Complements and OverflowHow do I convert between bases, read a signed pattern, and tell when a sum overflows?
  7. DL-07Floating Point: IEEE 754How do I encode and decode an IEEE 754 pattern, and where are its limits?
  8. DL-08GATE Traps SheetThe wrong turns that cost marks, each with the rule that fixes it

How each page works

Built for fast revision

  • Quick Recall boxes: the facts to hold in memory
  • Formula boxes with variables, when each applies and the usual mistake
  • Students Think / Actually: the wrong intuition next to the correct rule
  • If You See This / Do This: a cue in the question and the steps to take
  • Compare tables for look-alike concepts
  • Trap boxes: a known wrong turn and its fix
  • Edge cases that change the answer

About this pack

Scope

Revision pages for Section 2 of the GATE CS 2027 syllabus: Boolean algebra and canonical forms, minimisation by K-map and the tabular (Quine-McCluskey) method, combinational building blocks, flip-flops, counters and state machines, number systems, complements and overflow, and IEEE 754 floating point. ALU design, carry lookahead and Booth multiplication are covered in the Computer Organization pack, so this pack stays on logic and number representation.

Before you buy

Common questions

What exactly will I receive?

A 10-page A4 PDF in two editions: a screen edition for reading on a device and a print edition prepared for A4 printing. Nothing is shipped; it is a download.

Can I read it on my phone, and can I print it?

Yes. The PDF opens in any PDF reader on phones, tablets and computers, and the bookmarks jump between pages. You may print it for your own study.

Is it for GATE 2027?

Yes. The packs follow the official GATE CS 2027 syllabus, and each pack says what is in scope and what is covered in another pack. GATE CS Mastery is independent and not affiliated with IIT, IISc or the GATE organising committee.

How is this different from ordinary short notes?

Each page answers one question and uses labelled boxes: rules with their conditions, traps with the fix, comparison tables and small worked examples. Every pack ends with a traps sheet, a question-patterns sheet and a one-page last-day sheet.

What happens after I pay?

When Razorpay confirms the payment, download buttons appear straight away and a receipt is emailed to you. Later, My library sends a one-time link to your purchase email and shows fresh download links.

What if the payment succeeds but the download fails?

Do not pay again. Your purchase is recorded as soon as the payment is verified. Open My library, or write to support@gatecsmastery.com with your order ID or Razorpay payment ID. See the refund policy for when a refund applies.
